Events in Support of Children

On October 29, a large charity event will be held in Nicosia to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation—an organization that carries out projects to support children, youth, vulnerable groups, and Cypriot society.

The event will take place at the Tassos Papadopoulos–Eleftheria Stadium and will begin in the afternoon.

4:00 p.m. — Free admission

The stadium will be transformed into a large space for children and teenagers, featuring games, entertainment, and various activities.

An unusual basketball game promises to be particularly interesting: participants will be challenged to shoot the ball into the basket while standing with their backs to it.

The first 10 participants who manage to score this way will each receive €1,000.

But there’s an important condition: the winner can keep €500 for themselves, while the other €500 must be donated to a charity of their choice.

This way, participants will not only be able to try their luck but also decide for themselves where to direct a portion of their winnings.

Following a brief ceremony, there will be a major concert by the popular Greek performer Konstantinos Argyros.

Regular ticket — €5. Children under 10 get in free.

All proceeds from the nominal ticket price will go toward the foundation’s initiatives supporting children.

For those wishing to provide additional support to the foundation, a limited number of VIP tickets are available:
Zone A — €250
Zone B — €200
Zone C — €150
A VIP ticket includes a drink and selected appetizers.

The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. During this time, the foundation has implemented over 100 projects in Cyprus, as well as international initiatives.
