About This Event
One of Greece's greatest performers, Giorgos Dalaras, returns to Cyprus with the musical performance «Rebetiko», accompanied by a select group of musicians and the distinguished voices of Aspasia Stratigou, Marianna Katsimicha and Vasilis Korakakis. The concert takes place at the Makarios III Amphitheatre of the School for the Blind in Nicosia, on Tuesday 6 October 2026, at 20:30.
The programme delves into the world of authentic rebetiko song - music that embodies the ethos, pain and joy of popular life. In recent years, Dalaras has presented this programme with great success in European capitals, from London and Paris to Stockholm and Amsterdam, to sold-out halls and glowing reviews.
