About This Event
The 15th Palouze Festival in the village of Spilia will take place on Sunday, 1 November 2026. This wonderful autumn event is organised by the Association of Expatriates and Friends of Spilia-Kourdala, inviting all residents and visitors to Cyprus to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of local traditions, aromas and genuine mountain hospitality.
The village is situated in one of the most picturesque corners of the Troodos Mountains. Below, you can see its exact location on the map to plan your route in advance.
The highlight of the day will be a tasting of freshly made, still-warm palouze. Guests will be able to watch the traditional process of making it in large copper cauldrons.
Other traditional regional delicacies will be on offer, including shushuko, zivania, homemade bread and mountain honey.
