We’ll talk about gods, marriage, revenge and war, the roles of men and women - and, of course, Cyprus in this epic poem. I’ll also tell you about ancient Greek tourism and which of the islands mentioned in the epic we can still visit today.

We’ll discuss ancient Greek morality, family and relationships, the realities of ancient seafaring, and try to understand why Odysseus’ story still feels surprisingly familiar.
