About This Event
On October 13, an unusual open-air theater performance will take place in Larnaca. The Lithuanian theater company No Shoes Theatre will perform “Kuris Kuri” at Zouchouri Square.
The production combines theater, dance, and sports. On stage, two athletes of different nationalities meet and compete in various disciplines. Victory shifts from one to the other, while the audience watches as the characters cope with defeat, hold onto hope, and learn to interact with one another.
A unique feature of the performance is its interactivity: the audience will be able to become fans, judges, and even participants in the game. It is a dynamic performance about rivalry, friendship, mutual support, and the ability to accept both victory and defeat with dignity.
The performance is part of the Mitsikouri International Festival of Performing Arts for Children and Youth. Since it is a nonverbal performance, language barriers will not prevent you from enjoying the show.
The performance is presented under the auspices of the Lithuanian Embassy in Greece and Cyprus.
