The Radisson Blu Marathon in Larnaca

The Radisson Blu Larnaca International Marathon is Cyprus’s biggest sporting event, due to take place on 15 November 2026 in the coastal city of Larnaca. The race attracts thousands of athletes from all over the world thanks to its flat, fast route and picturesque views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Start and finish: The city’s main seafront promenade – the Finikoudes area. This is Larnaca’s central promenade, featuring a sandy beach and date palms.

Route features: The route runs along the Mediterranean coast, past the famous Larnaca Salt Lake and the town’s historic landmarks. The course is flat and fast, making it ideal for breaking personal bests.

Event times: From 07:00 to 13:00 Eastern European Time.
We recommend arriving at the start area in good time (at least 45–60 minutes beforehand) to go through security checks, drop off your belongings at the cloakroom and warm up.

The organisers have prepared five different routes, suitable for both professional marathon runners and families with children:
Marathon (42.195 km)
Entry fee: 70 euros.
Time limit: 6 hours.
Who it’s for: The main race for experienced athletes and long-distance runners. The route is AIMS-certified.

Half Marathon (21.097 km)
Entry fee: €60.
Time limit: 3 hours.
Who it’s for: Ideal for intermediate runners wishing to test their endurance on a flat coastal route.

10 km race
Cost: 50 euros.
Time limit: 1 hour 30 minutes.
Who it’s for: An excellent choice for speed runners and those who want to run a classic distance at a competitive pace.

Individual 5 km run
Cost: €40.
Time limit: 1 hour.
Who it’s for: An accessible format for beginner runners and those who prefer short, dynamic distances.

5 km corporate run
Cost: €20 per participant.
Time limit: 1 hour.
Who it’s for: A team run for company staff, aimed at team-building and jointly promoting a healthy lifestyle.

McDonald’s™ Children’s Run (1 km)
Cost: Free.
Time limit: None.
Who it’s for: A festive, fun run for the youngest participants.
