Let’s Do It - A Week of Environmental Actions in Cyprus

From October 26 to November 1, Cyprus will host Let’s Do It! Cyprus—an environmental initiative dedicated to cleaning up public spaces and preserving the island’s natural areas.

This is an opportunity for residents and visitors to Cyprus to come together for a common goal—to make cities, parks, forested areas, and other public spaces cleaner. Initiatives like this not only help reduce litter in the environment but also raise awareness about treating nature responsibly.

What’s planned?
As part of Environmental Week, group cleanups may be organized in various areas: parks, natural areas, public spaces, and residential neighborhoods. Individuals, families, groups of friends, volunteers, and local communities can join the initiative.

Participating in these events is an opportunity to make a personal contribution to preserving the environment, meet like-minded people, and show children by example why it’s important not to leave trash behind after spending time outdoors and to take care of the places that everyone uses.

Where will the events take place?
The initiative covers Cyprus; however, specific cleanup locations, start times, and participation requirements must be confirmed via the organizers’ announcements.

Dates: October 26–November 1, 2026
Location: Various locations throughout Cyprus
Format: Environmental cleanups and volunteer events
Participation fee: Please check with the organizers for details.

Why should you join?
Even a small contribution makes a difference. Picking up trash along a walking trail, helping to tidy up a park, or joining a group cleanup is a simple way to improve your surroundings.

Let’s Do It! Cyprus reminds us that caring for nature starts with concrete actions and that together we can achieve much more.

Before attending, we recommend checking the official announcements for the exact schedule of local events, meeting locations, and registration information.

The registration deadline is October 15, 2026, by 12:00 PM.

Teams wishing to participate in the week of environmental cleanups and receive cleanup equipment and supplies as part of the campaign must complete the form in a timely manner.
