Prospathоume: Contemporary Greek Comedy Across Cyprus

"We're Trying" (Prospathоume) is a contemporary comedy touring Nicosia, Larnaca, and Limassol, Cyprus in October 2026. Written and performed by Irini Salata and Evros Vasiliou, the show takes a warm and witty look at the deeply personal journey of IVF and parenthood. The production is rated 16+ and explores how life — and people — change when they pursue something that cannot simply be bought.

The story follows a young couple going through in vitro fertilisation, fast-forwarding through what life looks like with a child in the home and then through the teenage years — asking what changes, and who they become along the way. A modern comedy shining a light on a topic that is both universal and rarely spoken about openly.
