Exhibit - A

Exhibit A is an immersive performance that places the audience in close proximity to a laboratory in progress. At its centre, an experiment searches for the conditions through which a person is shaped into what society might recognise as ideal.

Exhibit A examines the things that quietly become part of us.

The patterns repeated until they begin to feel natural. The beliefs we carry without remembering when they became our own. The expectations that settle so deeply within us that, eventually, we begin to call them choices.

Exhibit A explores how relationships, values and social structures shape the way we relate to others and, more subtly, to ourselves. Somewhere between what we adopt, what we adapt and what we leave behind, our sense of who we might have been begins to shift.

Through this inquiry, Exhibit A aims to turn our attention inward, towards a more personal uncertainty. How much of who we are did we truly choose, and how far is it from the version of ourselves we never had the chance to know?
