What do a cardboard box, a plastic bag, and an ordinary mop handle have in common? It turns out that each of these items can be the start of an amazing theatrical story!

At the children’s workshop “What Are They Hiding From Us?”, kids will embark on a fascinating journey into the world of imagination, play, and theatrical creativity. Together with the participants, they’ll explore everyday objects that usually end up in the trash and discover completely new possibilities for them.

A cardboard box can turn into a boat, a secret hideout, or even a paper monster. A plastic bag can become a bird, a jellyfish, or an entire ocean. And an ordinary stick can become not only a horse, but also something completely unexpected!

Through theatrical games, improvisation, and collaborative experiments, children will learn to view the world around them from a different perspective, develop their imagination, create their own stories, and work as a team.

The workshop is led by the Eidekanou theater group as part of the Mitsikouri Performing Arts Festival for Children and Young People, dedicated to the performing arts for children and youth.

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a Sunday morning creatively, let your imagination run wild, and discover that even the most ordinary things can hold real magic.
