“Tzivertia: Living Structures” Experiential workshop with Threading Stories

Three nature trails are transformed into spaces for contemporary artistic creation, where ecological awareness meets traditional knowledge and Cyprus's cultural heritage. The starting point for the project is the traditional “Tzivertia”, clay beehives used in Cyprus until the early 20th century and an important part of the local beekeeping tradition. Through artistic walks and experiential workshops, participants will explore the area's natural materials, collect clay, stone and plant fibres, and contribute to the creation of sculptural installations that function both as works of art and habitats for Cyprus's native bees. The project highlights the relationship between people and nature, creating a meaningful dialogue between ecology, local tradition and contemporary artistic expression.

Participation in the workshops and tours is open to all ages and no prior experience is required. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for walking and activities involving soil and clay are recommended.
