    About This Event

"To Koumpi" (The Button) is a children's theatre show in Nicosia, Cyprus, presented by Act Studio at the Satiriko Theatre on Sunday, 18 October 2026. Directed by Elias Ioannidis and written by Maria Kanther, this energetic production features 25 young performers and is suitable for ages 4 and up.

🎟️ Ticket prices start from €12.

Twenty-five students are doing what they do best — scrolling, chasing likes, levelling up — until a mysterious button appears. They press it, of course. Within seconds, they find themselves trapped in a digital world where the game never stops and the exit is nowhere to be found, while a character called Mr. Just-A-Little-More makes everything worse. To get back to the real world, they'll need courage, knowledge, self-control, and perhaps the hardest word of our era: "enough."

With humour, music, and unexpected twists, "The Button" speaks to the world of social media and video games without lecturing or pointing fingers. The message is clear: it's not about never entering the digital world — it's about remembering when to leave. 🎭
