Memory Workshop in Askas

An experiential theatre workshop inviting participants to discover, share and bring to life the personal and collective memories of their community. Through theatre games, creative writing exercises and improvisations, residents' narratives will be transformed into original theatrical stories, which will be presented openly to the public. With a particular emphasis on the participation of people aged over 60, the initiative aims to preserve valuable testimonies and experiences, strengthening intergenerational communication and the cultural identity of each community. At the same time, the creation of a short documentary and a commemorative booklet will preserve the stories and memories of the participants, creating a valuable archive of intangible cultural heritage for future generations.
