Larnaca Marathon: Volunteer Cleanup

A volunteer cleanup will take place at the water stations of the Radisson Hotels Larnaca Marathon. Participants will collect plastic bottles discarded during the race, helping to separate recyclable material from the waste generated by the event. All collected bottles will be sent for recycling.

The team is recruiting 80 volunteers. This activity will suit people who want to contribute to a local environmental initiative and support the marathon without taking part as runners. The work will take place along the race route, rather than only after the event has finished.

Advance registration through the Telegram bot CityFriendsBot is required. Volunteers should confirm their assigned station and working hours with the team.

Location note: Finikoudes is shown on the map as a reference near the marathon’s start and finish. It is not a confirmed volunteer meeting point; the cleanup will cover water stations along the route.
