Trinity Media+ Camp

Trinity Media+ Camp: "Shoot it — Edit it!" | 26–30 October 2026, Limassol

A 5-day practical course in mobile filming, photography and editing for children aged 6–8 and 9–12. Children work on camera, use a professional teleprompter, lavalier microphones and cameras, and edit their footage into finished videos the same day. By the end of the week, each child has their own media portfolio.

Day-by-day programme

Day 1. "On Camera": video intro and warm-up
Exercises to release tension, public-speaking and voice techniques. Children set up lighting, use a lavalier mic and film a personal video intro, then edit it: cutting pauses, adding pop-up text, graphics and sound effects.
Result: a finished video intro.

Day 2. "On Air": news show and teleprompter
Children write news stories, read them from a professional teleprompter with the right intonation and film as anchors and reporters. Then they edit the news show with name captions, an opening title and background audio.
Result: a news story with an anchor and on-location reporting.

Day 3. "In Focus": camera photo shoot
Focusing, composition and working with natural and artificial light during a portrait and themed photo shoot. Children select and colour-correct their photos and edit them into a dynamic video set to music.
Result: a series of photos and a video slideshow.

Day 4. "Trending": creative sketch and POV
Children develop a story idea and film it in first person, working on acting, unusual angles and camera movement. They edit to the beat with smooth transitions, colour filters and sound design.
Result: a short sketch or an atmospheric POV video.

Day 5. "On Screen": final cut and showcase
Children combine the week's footage into one showreel with a cover graphic and titles. The finished work is screened on the big screen, followed by a group discussion and certificates.
Result: a personal media portfolio and project presentation.
