Τα Μωρά τα Φέρνει ο Πελαργός στην Πάφο

Can a baby change everyone's life? There are stories that make us laugh, others that move us, and some that manage to do both. The beloved work by Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou "Ta mora ta fernei o pelargos" belongs to the last category, and it runs from 9 October at Theatro Anemona.

The story takes us to Thessaloniki during the German Occupation, one of the darkest periods of modern history. Amid fear, hunger and uncertainty, the longing for a baby becomes the catalyst for a human story full of twists, comic situations and deep emotion.

Armed with love, solidarity and humor, the characters try to endure and keep hope alive. Laughter coexists with anxiety, and tenderness with the harshness of the era, in a performance that reminds us that even in the most difficult circumstances, the human need for life and love can light up the darkness.

Directed by Marinos Xenophontos, the cast includes Irini Konstantinou, Giannis Kokkinos, Christopher Greco, Elena Cheiletis, Gianna Leukati, Angelos Chatzimichail and Nikolas Arkadiou.
