Awareness 2026: ReHeritAge - Art, Performance and Music

How does the past find new meaning in the present? Awareness 2026: ReHeritAge explores cultural heritage through contemporary art, considering how technology, artistic experimentation and social change reshape our collective memory.

Now in its sixth year, the event brings together an exhibition featuring more than 25 artists, performances, art and music workshops, and appearances by musicians and DJs from Cyprus and abroad. The programme offers different ways to engage with its theme, through looking, listening and taking part.

At the heart of ReHeritAge is the idea that heritage continues to evolve. Stories, materials and practices acquire new meanings as they pass between generations and move between physical and digital worlds. The exhibition invites visitors to consider how we remember the past and what we choose to carry into the future.

Organised by After:noon / Project with support from the Youth Board of Cyprus, the gathering will take place on 13 and 14 November at Acropolis Park in Strovolos. It will appeal to anyone interested in contemporary art, music and the meeting of culture and technology.
