"Young Doctor" Club

Inhale — exhale: what's actually happening inside the body at that moment?
Kids will learn how the respiratory system works, build a working model to see the process with their own eyes, and do an experiment that makes the invisible visible.
We'll break down how air travels through the body and what gas exchange is
We'll learn what role the lungs, diaphragm, and bronchi play in breathing
We'll build a model of the respiratory system
Red cabbage juice experiment: we'll breathe through a straw into the solution and watch it change color from purple to pink — that's the carbon dioxide we exhale reacting with the solution. This way, kids see with their own eyes the invisible gas that constantly leaves our body when we breathe.
