Women in Art

A memory can become a patch of colour, a woven surface or a figure caught between recognition and imagination. CHANNELLED: Women in Art Across Centuries brings together 17 women artists whose works give different forms to personal experience.

The exhibition at XeniArtSpace features artists including Tracey Emin, Leonor Fini, Olga de Amaral and Lynne Drexler. Painting, photography, textiles, sculpture and installation connect artistic practices of the 20th and 21st centuries. The pleasure lies in following the differences: how each artist approaches memory, intuition, vulnerability and the world around her.

The exhibition runs from 18 September 2026 to 18 February 2027. A free audio guide is available in English, Greek and Russian, offering a way into the works at your own pace.

During the same visit, explore CHANNELLED: CYPRUS — Women Artists of the Island in the gallery’s Space 1. This companion exhibition brings together nine artists connected with Cyprus, exploring the body, nature, identity and belonging. It runs from 22 September 2026 to 18 February 2027.

Opening hours for both exhibitions: Wednesday–Friday, 16:00–20:00; Saturday, 12:00–17:00. Closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday. Admission and guest parking are free.

Venue: XeniArtSpace, Trilogy complex, 335, 28th October Avenue, Limassol.
