Κελαηδίσματα

Three voices and twelve musicians in a grand celebration of folk song.

Kinisi Politismou presents Dimitris Fanis's production "Kelaidismata". A distinctive musical proposal that places the bouzouki and folk song at the center.

"Kelaidismata" is an idea by Dimitris Fanis born from his love of folk song. It is his desire to present the multifaceted role that the bouzouki has, as the primary interpretive instrument that has expressed folk song for the last 100 years.

In the performance of the songs, besides Dimitris Fanis, two talented performers of the new generation. Marina Verzanli and Angeliki Chatzivasileio.

The orchestrations are signed by Neoklis Neofytidis, who uniquely highlights the distinctive color, character, power and possibilities that the bouzouki has. Twelve excellent musicians, six bouzoukis in the front line and six other instruments make up a complete musical group that offers a delightful melodic experience.

An evening filled with beloved folk songs.
