Windcraft Back

The non-profit organisation Windcraft Loud is marking ten years of creation, collaborations, musical encounters and new paths, and is celebrating with a series of events titled "Windcraft Back". The series brings back to the forefront collaborations born from the journey of the organisation and of Windcraft Music Fest.

Since its founding, Windcraft Loud has aimed to build bridges between the local and international music scenes, bringing together artists from Cyprus and abroad and encouraging the creation of new cross-border musical collaborations. Through Windcraft Music Fest, dozens of musicians met for the first time, experimented with different musical idioms and created original musical proposals.

"Windcraft Back" returns to some of these encounters, giving them the opportunity to come back to life and evolve anew. Cypriot and international musicians meet again in Nicosia, presenting their music through four distinct concerts, while also sharing their knowledge and experience with the local music community through four specialised workshops.

As part of the series, Haris Lamprakis meets Odysseas Toumazou in a musical exploration with references to world music, Toms Rudzinskis joins Christos Gerolatsitis in an encounter centred on contemporary jazz, Federico Pascucci reunites with Larva (Vasilis Philippou & Alexis Kasinos) in a contemporary approach to traditional music, while Andreas Polyzogopoulos engages in musical dialogue with Marios Takousis in another creative jazz collaboration.

The concerts are complemented by workshops in world music, jazz, swing and Balkan music, offering students, professionals and music lovers the opportunity to come into direct contact with accomplished musicians from Cyprus and abroad.

With Windcraft Back, Windcraft Loud celebrates ten years of activity, reconnecting artists and collaborations that shaped its path and creating new opportunities for artistic development, education and international networking.
