Akamas Museums & Crafts Tour

The Akamas–Laona region brings together natural history and rural traditions within a compact landscape of villages and countryside. This free bus excursion from Pafos connects several local museums, with guidance in English and Greek. November departures take place on 7, 14, 21 and 28 November 2026.

The bus leaves the Archaeological Park bus stop in Kato Pafos at 09:15. At 10:00, the Geology and Paleontology Information Centre in Pano Arodes introduces the rocks and fossils of Akamas. At 11:00, the route continues to Innia’s turtle and basketry museums, exploring marine conservation alongside traditional weaving.

At 12:00, Droushia’s Rural Life and Traditions centre presents local crafts through demonstrations and displays. The afternoon continues at the Marion and Arsinoe Archaeological Museum in Polis Chrysochous at 13:10, followed by Kathikas’s Avifauna and Flora Visitor Centre at 14:10. Free time follows before the return departure at 15:30; arrival in Pafos is scheduled for 16:15.
