    About This Event

Learn to build and play the traditional Cypriot pithkiavli (reed pipe) in this free hands-on workshop held across four sessions in November 2026 at Agrou Municipal School in Limassol.

Make your own pithkiavli, the traditional Cypriot reed pipe, and learn to play your first notes with the help of a master instrument maker.
The workshop is part of the experiential crafts and gastronomy workshops of the "Heartland of Legends" route by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, which keep the traditional arts of the Cypriot countryside alive, part of Cyprus's Intangible Cultural Heritage. An opportunity for locals and visitors to create with their own hands and discover authentic flavours and customs.
