Loveletter - International Festival of Nicosia 2026

The multi-award-winning Irish performer Camille, a phenomenon of the European music and theatre scene, comes to Cyprus for the first time with a spectacular music show.

With this "love letter", written in songs, Camille pays tribute to her beloved friend Shane MacGowan, Sinéad O'Connor, David Bowie, Radiohead, Jacques Brel, Nick Cave and many others. Like a chameleon on stage, in each song she transforms into a different character, who tells their own story.

Together with her longtime collaborator Feargal Murray, she has created a personal, unpretentious and moving show, which does not lack a dose of... joyful, crazy chaos as she unwinds the thread of her life, honestly capturing her response to those she loved and lost.

Loveletter was voted by the Daily Telegraph as "one of the 25 greatest performances of all time on BBC Later... with Jools Holland", while the BBC called her the "Queen of the Edinburgh Festival". Her sold-out, captivating performances around the world and in venues such as the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Festival Hall and the Roundhouse have been acclaimed by audiences and critics. She has been awarded the prestigious Herald Angel award for her solo performance in the RSC production The Rape of Lucrece.

Camille has toured with the Pogues, appeared as a guest at the Meltdown festivals curated by Yoko Ono and Richard Thompson at the Royal Festival Hall, and was one of the original stars of the Olivier-winning neo-cabaret show La Clique. Before pursuing her unusual path as a performer, she had distinguished herself as an architect - she recently won the RIAI 2025 architecture award - and as a painter. Born in London to a French mother and an Irish-English father, she grew up in a village in County Cork, Ireland, listening to the eclectic music collection of her parents and sisters, which played a decisive role in shaping her unique artistic personality and interpretive quality.
