ONE STAGE ÷ three: Musical Encounters

ONE STAGE ÷ three brings musicians from Cyprus, Germany and Austria together for an evening built around contrasting sounds and a shared conclusion. Each act presents its own programme before all the performers join for a collaborative finale.

Monsieur Doumani approach Cypriot musical traditions through psychedelic folk, jazz, rock and experimentation. Their contribution places the island’s musical heritage in a contemporary setting, alongside artists working with voice, improvisation and electronics.

Berlin-based singer Erik Leuthäuser performs with pianist Julius Windisch, combining jazz and dream pop with an increasingly prominent place for German-language vocals. Linz duo beauchamp*geissler take a different route through experimental pop: bass guitar, keyboards and electronics meet vocals in three languages. The final collaboration is the point where these separate musical approaches come into direct contact.

The concert takes place on Thursday, 5 November 2026, from 20:00 to 22:00 at Pallas Theatre in Nicosia. Admission is free, and a wine reception follows the performance. It forms part of the Weeks of the German Language, held from 3 to 19 November.

The event is jointly organised by the Embassies of Austria, Germany and Switzerland and Goethe-Institut Cyprus, with support from the Charles Haimoff Foundation.
