The Larnaka Cinema Society presents the award-winning French comedy "Adieu les cons" (Goodbye Idiots) directed by Albert Dupontel as part of its "Movie Mondays" series — a free screening at the Georghios Lykourgos Municipal Theatre of Larnaka, Cyprus, on Monday 9 November 2026. The film runs 87 minutes and will be followed by a 15-minute discussion.
Winner of three César Awards — Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay — "Adieu les cons" is a sharp, comedic satire of French bureaucracy, packed with obstacles and absurd twists. The screening is in French with Greek subtitles.
🎬 Synopsis: Suze Trappet decides to search for the son she gave up for adoption as a teenage mother. Along the way, she finds two unlikely allies: a pair of civil servants.
