Enjoy a free hands-on silk scarf-making workshop for adults at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation in Nicosia, Cyprus, on Sunday, 8 November 2026, from 11:00 to 13:30.
Inspired by the Foundation's Archaeological Museum — the Georgios and Nefeli Tziapra Pierides Collection — participants will explore artefacts, symbols, and personal observations and transform them into a contemporary design on silk fabric. The result is a one-of-a-kind handmade scarf that carries your own creative imprint.
The session opens with a brief presentation of the creative methodology by facilitator Michalis Pantelidis — Artist and Fashion Textile Designer — followed by a guided tour of the museum. Participants then photograph or sketch details that inspire them before composing their design on a scarf using pencils, special paints, and fabric markers. All materials are provided.
