Stitched into the Landscape Exhibition

The exhibition "Stitched into the Landscape" brings contemporary graphic art and Lefkara lace into creative dialogue, exploring Cypriot identity and the philosophy of slow living. Vasilis Savvidis creates works inspired by images of everyday Cypriot life, such as traditional doors, seashells, Cypriot coffee and tavli (backgammon), onto which Andreani Panayidi incorporates handmade Lefkara lace, creating fifteen original mixed-media works. The exhibition highlights an art form inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, while also being enriched with Lefkara lace workshops for all ages, inviting residents and visitors to experience a living aspect of Cypriot cultural heritage firsthand.
