9 Musical Images

Diastasi presents "9 Musical Images" in Limassol, Nicosia and Larnaca, with musical direction by Neoklis Neofytidis.
From Manos Hatzidakis and Mikis Theodorakis to Vasilis Tsitsanis and Evanthia Reboutsika, nine composers set the tone for the new musical production of the Diastasi Cultural Organization. "9 Musical Images" comes in November to three Cypriot cities, bringing beloved songs and melodies that connect different generations of listeners.
The production features Margarita Zormpala, Iro Saia, Giannis Dionysiou, Giorgos Ioannou and Andrea Sofokleous, together with the Diastasi Vocal Ensemble and an orchestra of professional musicians.
The programme draws on the work of Manos Hatzidakis, Mikis Theodorakis, Stavros Xarchakos, Manos Loizos, Christos Leontis, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Dimitris Lagios, Evanthia Reboutsika and Vasilis Tsitsanis. Nine different musical worlds meet in a production dedicated to the composers and to the songs that remain part of our lives.
Musical direction, arrangements, orchestrations and harmonizations are by Neoklis Neofytidis.
