Trichords - The Great Journey is a live music show in Limassol, Cyprus, taking place on Monday, 30 November 2026 at the Pattichion Municipal Theatre. Presented by the Foundation of Friendship and Culture "Christos Lazaris", this immersive narrative performance traces the journey from Byzantine hymnody through rebetiko to the contemporary Greek urban folk song - told through live music, storytelling and a full orchestra. The show runs for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
🎤 Vocalists Dimitris Mpasis and Sofia Papazoglou lead the performance, accompanied by a ten-piece folk orchestra and the Choir of Chanters of the Holy Archbishopric of Cyprus "Agios Ioannis o Damascinos". Production direction and stage supervision by Christos Filippou.
