Wiener Mozart Orchester: Imperial Gala Concert in Cyprus

The Wiener Mozart Orchester brings its Imperial Gala Concert to Cyprus for the very first time — three evenings of Viennese classical music in Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia in December 2026. The programme features masterpieces by Mozart, Johann Strauss, Vivaldi and more, performed by soloists, professional vocalists and ballet dancers. Each concert runs approximately 1.5 hours including an interval.

The Imperial Gala Concert is the only concert series held exclusively at the Palais Auersperg, one of Vienna's most magnificent Baroque palaces — the very stage where Mozart, the "King of the Waltz" Johann Strauss and many other composers once performed. On this programme: grand concert waltzes, virtuoso ballet music and beloved operetta melodies that defined the golden age of Viennese ballroom culture.

🎼 Founded in 1986, the Vienna Mozart Orchestra performs at Vienna's most prestigious venues, including the Golden Hall of the Musikverein and the Vienna State Opera. In 2019 alone, the orchestra welcomed over 200,000 audience members across 150 concerts. Renowned soloists from the Vienna Philharmonic and Vienna Symphony orchestras collaborate with the ensemble, alongside singers from the Vienna State Opera and the Volksoper Wien.

Beyond Vienna, the orchestra has performed across South America, Japan, China and throughout Europe — and now, for the first time, in Cyprus.
