Vienna Mozart Orchestra: An Imperial Gala in Cyprus

Imagine the sweep of a Viennese waltz, the sparkle of Mozart's melodies and the graceful movement of ballet dancers sharing the stage with orchestral soloists. This is the world of the Imperial Gala Concert, arriving in Cyprus for the first time.

Presented by soloists of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra, the evening brings together instrumental music, professional vocalists and ballet in a celebration of Europe's classical musical heritage. The programme draws on works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Strauss, Antonio Vivaldi and other composers, moving between the elegance of the ballroom and the drama of the concert stage.

The inspiration comes from Vienna itself: a city of grand theatres, elaborate celebrations and music that has travelled far beyond the Austrian capital. Founded in 1986, the Vienna Mozart Orchestra is known for keeping this repertoire alive through performances in some of Vienna's celebrated concert venues.

There are three opportunities to experience the gala: Limassol on Friday 11 December, Paphos on Saturday 12 December and Nicosia on Sunday 13 December.

Whether you already love classical music or simply want an evening that feels different from an ordinary night out, this is an invitation to dress up, settle into a theatre seat and let the music take you somewhere else.
