Memory Workshop in Platanistasa

A hands-on theatre workshop that invites participants to discover, share and bring to life the personal and collective memories of their community. Through theatre games, creative writing exercises and improvisation, residents' narratives will be transformed into original theatre stories, which will be presented openly to the public. With a particular emphasis on the participation of people over 60, the activity aims to preserve valuable testimonies and experiences, strengthening intergenerational communication and the cultural identity of every community. At the same time, the creation of a short documentary and a commemorative booklet will preserve the stories and memories of the participants, creating a valuable archive of intangible cultural heritage for future generations.

CONTRIBUTORS: Maria Filippou (design and guidance of theatre workshops) and Yiannis Savva (design and guidance of theatre workshops).
