1st Mushroom Festival in Tsada

The scents of the forest meet the magic of Christmas in Tsada, which is preparing to welcome the 1st Mushroom Festival on Saturday, 12 December 2026. Under the motto "In the Square of Wishes," the festival brings to the village square a program that combines getting to know mushrooms, music, dance, and family entertainment.
The day will begin with a mushroom foraging excursion and continue with an educational lecture, giving visitors the chance to better understand the world around them. Then, DJ Gia and Rachel's Oriental Dance Studio take the stage, and the festival will conclude with complimentary zivania served by the Women's Association of Tsada "Anemona".
On site there will be vendor stalls selling products, while visitors can enjoy beverages, food, and sweets. For the little guests of the event there will be inflatable play structures and craft activities, adding creative fun to the program.

10:30-13:00 | Mushroom foraging and collection

The first activity of the day is dedicated to searching for and collecting mushrooms.
13:30-14:00 | Lecture on mushrooms

Giorgos Konstantinidis, president of the Mushroom Lovers of Greece, will speak about the world of mushrooms.
14:00-14:30 | Welcome and speech

Greeting from Andreas Grigoriou, Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment.
14:30-16:30 | Music by DJ Gia

Two hours of music will set the rhythm for the festival in the square.
16:30-17:30 | Dance program

Rachel's Oriental Dance Studio presents its dance program.
17:30-18:00 | Zivania serving

The Women's Association of Tsada "Anemona" serves zivania, closing the day with Cypriot hospitality.
The event is held under the auspices of the Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Andreas Grigoriou.
