About This Event
After her husband’s death, Bernarda Alba locks the doors of her house and declares an eight-year mourning. In this closed space there are only women. Only silence, order, and prohibitions. And not a word about love.
But love does not obey rules. It grows through fear, through walls, through another’s will. It becomes the breath without which it is impossible to live. Especially for a woman.
This is the story of a thirst for love that is stronger than shame, stronger than fear, and sometimes even stronger than life itself.
