Giannis Malamas

Giannis Malamas is one of the most respected singer-songwriters in Greece, born in Thessaloniki in 1958. Celebrated for his deeply poetic lyrics, husky voice, and music that weaves together rock, folk, and rebetiko influences, Malamas occupies a unique space in Greek music — critically revered and passionately followed.
