Nikos Portokaloglou

Nikos Portokaloglou is a defining figure in Greek rock music, born in Athens in 1962. As a founding member of the legendary band Fatme in the 1980s, he helped shape the sound of Greek rock before embarking on a rich solo career. A gifted multi-instrumentalist, composer, and lyricist, Portokaloglou has created music that ranges from hard rock to introspective folk, always with literary depth. His collaborations have spanned generations of Greek artists. He has performed in Cyprus at the School for the Blind Amphitheatre, an intimate venue that showcases his artistry at its most personal.
