Sharon Kam — Events in Cyprus
Sharon Kam is an Israeli clarinettist widely regarded as one of the outstanding classical musicians of her generation. Born in Tel Aviv in 1969, she studied at the Juilliard School in New York before pursuing a distinguished international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and recording artist. She has performed with the world's leading orchestras — including the Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna Philharmonic, and the Orchestre de Paris — and with conductors including Kurt Masur, Zubin Mehta, and Daniel Barenboim. Her recordings for Teldec and EMI Classics have won international awards and established her as a definitive interpreter of the clarinet repertoire from Mozart and Weber to Brahms and contemporary works. Her performances at the Strovolos Municipal Theatre and Pattihio Theatre in Cyprus brought world-class classical artistry to the island's most prestigious concert venues.
