Tom Waits

Tom Waits is an American musician, composer, and actor born in 1949, widely regarded as one of rock's most distinctive and original voices. His albums — from Rain Dogs and Swordfishtrombones to Bone Machine and Mule Variations — have shaped alternative and experimental music across four decades. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee (2011), he is also an acclaimed film actor, appearing in works by Francis Ford Coppola, Jim Jarmusch, and Robert Altman.
