Nakadia, billed as the Techno Queen of Thailand, headlines a four-artist night with Stavros Tsia, Tripsitter8 and Tommy Tommy Berlin. Stavros Tsia opens with deep rolling basslines, and the promoters pledge no commercial detours, only underground techno for seven hours. It runs until midnight. Buy in advance, since the door costs roughly double.

After midnight the NOX party moves to Studio 54 Retro Club, where Nakadia returns to the decks for the official after-hours session. The music stays on underground techno, from dark grooves to peak-time drive. Keep your NOX wristband on, because it gets you the lowest entry price.

Almond sweets are the lesson at this free morning workshop in Kannaviou, a village of olive groves and vineyards in the Ezousa Valley. It belongs to the Heartland of Legends programme, which shows how farming and shepherding families here kept crafts going for extra income in hard times. The session is in Greek, and the Ezousa River picnic site makes a good stop afterwards.
