Massimo Giordano is an Italian tenor from Naples, born in 1971, who has established himself on the international opera stage through performances at the world's most prestigious venues including La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Paris Opera, and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. Known for his powerful, burnished tone and dramatic intensity, he has excelled in the Italian and French operatic repertoire, with particular distinction in roles from Puccini, Verdi, and Donizetti. His appearance at the Ancient Kourion Theatre in Cyprus — a 2nd-century Roman amphitheatre carved into a cliff above the Mediterranean Sea — provided one of the most extraordinary settings in the world for his magnificent voice.
