The Ammochostos Carnival in Ammochostos, Cyprus runs from 12 to 23 February 2026, offering a diverse programme of carnival events across the district. Organised by the Municipality of Paralimni–Deryneia, the festival combines traditional carnival spirit with family-friendly activities and large-scale parades.

The programme opens with a Tsiknopempti carnival party, followed by a modern children’s shadow theatre performance, an evening walking parade, the grand carnival parade with a party in the square, and concludes with a Clean Monday celebration. DJs and live musicians, including DJ Michalis Kourtis, Nikolas Karyotis and live performances on saxophone, violin and vocals, accompany the festivities throughout the carnival period.
