The legendary animated films of Hayao Miyazaki have long ceased to be just cartoons - they are entire worlds, full of wonders, deep emotions, and, of course, unforgettable music. Now the amazing soundtracks by Joe Hisaishi and other composers, heard in Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, and other masterpieces, will find a new, living sound.
The music from Miyazaki's universe is a distinct art form in itself. It can transport the listener to Porco Rosso's airplane flying over the sea, to the cozy oven of Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service, or to the mysterious baths of Yubaba. The melodies are sometimes tender and lyrical, sometimes epic and full of drama, creating a unique emotional palette that both children and adults feel so deeply.
The concert "Music of the Miyazaki World" is a journey through time and space, an opportunity to relive the magic of stories familiar since childhood through virtuoso performance.
The musical program will be accompanied by an atmospheric visual sequence inspired by the worlds of Miyazaki, gently immersing the audience even deeper into the magic of these stories.
The Symphonians is a collective of professional musicians from different countries, united by a genuine love for their craft. The ensemble is multifaceted and continuously evolving, bringing new ideas to life and expanding the boundaries of its creative activity.
The music of The Symphonians finds new life in every country. We consciously avoid rigid frameworks, allowing the program to sound sometimes like an intimate chamber conversation, sometimes like a powerful dialogue of many voices. The number of participants can change, adapting to the acoustics and atmosphere of the evening, but the essence remains unchanged - our signature, meticulously refined sound, perfected to the last note.
The Symphonians is a classical musician who has performed at Pallas Theatre Nicosia and Markideio Theatre in Cyprus. Their appearances at quality Cypriot concert venues connect the island's audiences with the European classical tradition and the high standards of international concert performance.
