Renowned jazz singer and recording artist Ioanna Troullidou returns to the stage of Sarah's Jazz Club, where she will perform with her quartet.
Quartet members: - Ioanna Troullidou — vocals - Marios Toumbas — piano - Irenaeos Koullouras — bass - Ioannis Vafeas — drums
Ioanna studied classical music at the University of Pécs (Hungary), earning a master's degree in music education and choral conducting, as well as jazz performance at the Bornemissza Mária Singing School.
During her seven years in Hungary, she was the lead singer of the No More Blues Band, with whom she recorded and performed for over five years.
Since 2007, Ioanna has been teaching vocals and jazz performance at the European University Cyprus, as well as being an active participant in the Cypriot jazz scene.
In 2012, she recorded the album Get Out of Town, a collection of jazz standards arranged by saxophonist and composer Chris Byars.
Ioanna has performed at renowned jazz festivals: - Aglanjazz Festival (2013) - Paradise Jazz Festival (2016) - Old Port Jazz Festival (2017) - Düsseldorf Jazz Rally (2017)
In 2020, Ioanna presented her own compositions (music and lyrics) at the Cyprus Jazz & World Music Showcase.
