Open House

For the first time, Open House Nicosia opens the doors of the city to the public, aiming to become Nicosia’s flagship architecture event.

During the weekend of 18–19 April, more than 35 buildings across the capital will welcome visitors through free, volunteer-led tours that reveal the stories behind the spaces shaping the city today.

The programme offers a rare opportunity to experience a wide range of architecture and design. Visitors will explore restored historic residences, cultural institutions, contemporary developments, and working environments that are usually closed to the public.

Among the buildings featured in this year’s programme are the 360, the Archontiko Hadjigeorgaki Kornesiou, the University of Cyprus Library, SIX Residences, UniHalls, Psaras Construction Offices, Fuel House, and many more. Each building presents a different perspective on how Nicosia lives, works, and evolves.

Open House Nicosia is built on the idea of openness, participation, and dialogue. Visitors will have the chance to meet the people behind each project and discover the city through architecture.

As the event approaches, additional activities and community initiatives will also be announced, including guided walks, studio visits, and interactive experiences for students and families.
