About This Event
This jazz night in Nicosia, Cyprus takes place at Sarah's Jazz & Blues Club, Faneromenis 63, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Doors open at 20:00 and live music starts at 21:00. The Marios Toumbas Trio has been bringing New York jazz vibes to Sarah's for nine years — an authentic live jazz experience described as simply unforgettable.
The Cyprus-based Marios Toumbas Trio is the result of a collaboration between Berklee graduates and long-time friends: pianist Marios Toumbas, double bassist Irenaeos Koulouras, and drummer Ioannis Vafeas. Their repertoire draws from the Post-bop era alongside compositions by Clifford Brown, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, and Joey Calderazzo, as well as original music by Toumbas. The club's food menu includes Pizza, the Jazz Platter, Chicken Wings, and unique house dishes, paired with wines, cocktails, mocktails, and beers.
