Spring is here, and the Japanese cherry trees in Kambos & Tsakkistra Village are blooming!
Cherry blossom season has arrived, and the beauty of Japanese cherry trees in spring is once again coming to Cyprus. The Campos Community Council, in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy and the Campos Cultural Development Association, is organizing a unique festival to celebrate spring and the beauty of nature.
Sakura, which blooms from late March to early April, is distinguished by its large pink flowers and creates a unique atmosphere. The short-lived blooming period (about three weeks) of the sakura symbolizes the transience of life and the beauty of nature.
The park in the village of Campos is rich in a variety of Japanese and rare local plants, making it attractive to visitors all year round.
We recommend checking the detailed program on the village’s website the day before the event: https://www.facebook.com/share/1DUAvwngNx/?mibextid=wwXIfr
