Sailing Yacht Skipper Course

A course for those who dream of the sea and want to learn how to sail a yacht. Instruction is conducted in Russian and English according to the IYT Day Skipper / Crew Sail + VHF program—an international system that allows you to start training at one school and continue at any other.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive international skipper and VHF radio operator certificates, allowing them to charter sailing yachts up to 10 meters in length, in good weather, during the day, within 5 miles of the shore—practically anywhere in the world.

What’s included in the course:

• theory session – 1.5–2 hours;
• on-water practice – 3–4 hours;
• training takes place on a Fareast 28R sailing yacht;
• the course is led by an IYT-accredited instructor who has trained over 400 people.

Since its founding, the club has received an annual award from the Cyprus Sailing Federation as one of the best on the island.

Further training: After completing the course, participants can continue their training with the IYT Bareboat Skipper Sail course to operate yachts up to 24 meters in length.

Cost: €830 per course. Duration: 3–4 days from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (depending on the group and weather).
