At the upcoming meeting, dedicated to fiction, we will discuss Yukio Mishima’s novel Confessions of a Mask.
The novel "Confessions of a Mask" by the famous Japanese writer Yukio Mishima (1925–1970), which brought the twenty-four-year-old author fame and worldwide recognition, is largely autobiographical. The central theme of this famous work is death, in which the protagonist sees the “true purpose of life.” Mishima meticulously explores his own psyche, delving into the very essence of his “self.” 190 pages, 1949.
The meeting will take place on May 5 at 8:30 p.m. at Axess Workspace (Konstantinou Palaiologou 28, Nicosia 1015). Tea and coffee are available at the coworking space. Please bring your own wine and snacks. The fee is 5 euros per person. Payment in cash or via Revolut on site.
