Friday, April 17, 2026, 8:30 p.m.

The Shoe Factory, Nicosia.

In the world of the clarinet, the name Alessandro Carbonare needs no introduction. Principal clarinetist of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Orchestra and legendary collaborator of Claudio Abbado, he is today rightly considered one of the world’s greatest clarinetists.

Five years ago, the trio performed in Cyprus to stunning success, and audiences have long awaited their return. And now that moment has arrived—in the new season, the trio returns with a thrilling concert. Founded in 2016, the Alessandro Carbonare Clarinet Trio is creating a unique musical legacy.

Together with clarinetists Luca Cipriano and Giuseppe Muscogiuri, the maestro explores a rare and mesmerizing repertoire for three clarinets and basset horns: from Mozart’s original divertimentos to Gershwin, jazz, contemporary music, and klezmer.

A single clarinet is capable of enchanting an audience.
Three clarinets transform a concert into a unique musical experience.
